Applications open on 21 August 2027! Troop Rewards is selecting 25 families for our Veterans Day 2027 RnR Recovery Vacation Event.
The event will be hosted at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, the Hyatt Regency Clearwater, Shephards Beach Resort, and Sandpearl Resort & Spa, all located in Clearwater Beach, Florida. The event starts on Monday, 8 November 2027 and ends on Friday, 12 November 2027. Dates are subject to change.
To be considered, families must submit the trip selection form online. The deadline to apply is 5pm on 18 October 2027. Each selected family will be assigned to one of the four resorts and will be notified by email or phone call on 24 October 2027.
To qualify, a service member must have deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Africa, SW Asia, or another hostile overseas AOR for 4 months or longer; be returning from a 12-month remote assignment within 180 days; or have orders to deploy within 90 days of the trip’s end.
Each selected family will enjoy a 5 day / 4 night stay at a Troop Rewards sponsored resort. The trip includes:
- “Welcome Home Our Heroes” arrival reception
- Daily breakfast at the resort
Families provide their own transportation. Uncovered meals, meals not listed as included, and room charges are the responsibility of the family.
