Applications open on 1 November 2026! Troop Rewards is selecting 25 families for our Memorial Day 2027 RnR Recovery Vacation Event.
The event will be hosted at the Sandpearl Resort & Spa, the Hyatt Regency Clearwater, and the Wyndham Grand Resort, all located in Clearwater Beach, Florida. The event starts on Memorial Day, Monday, 31 May 2027 and ends on Friday, 4 June 2027.
To be considered, families must submit the trip selection form online. The deadline to apply is 5pm on 26 April 2027. Each selected family will be assigned to one of the three resorts and will be notified by email on or before 8 May 2027.
To qualify, a service member must have deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Africa, SW Asia, or another hostile overseas AOR for 4 months or longer; be returning from a 12-month remote assignment within 180 days; or have orders to deploy within 90 days of the trip’s end.
Each selected family will enjoy a 5 day / 4 night stay at a Troop Rewards partnership resort. The trip includes:
- “Welcome Home Our Heroes” arrival reception
- Daily breakfast at the resort
- Dinner at the resort’s signature restaurant
- Visit to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium
Families provide their own transportation. Meals not listed as included and room charges are the responsibility of the family.
